Building Futures Pediatric Therapy is a fast-growing, family-centered pediatric therapy practice serving children from birth through 18 years of age. We provide Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy across three clinic locations in Monroe, West Monroe, and Ruston, Louisiana. Our team is dedicated to improving the lives of children and their families while fostering a positive, encouraging workplace for every employee.
Position Summary
The Pediatric Physical Therapist evaluates, develops, and implements individualized treatment plans designed to improve gross motor skills, mobility, balance, strength, coordination, and functional independence in pediatric patients. The Physical Therapist works closely with families and an interdisciplinary team to help children achieve meaningful developmental milestones.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive pediatric physical therapy evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers to support progress at home.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
- Maintain a positive, family-focused therapeutic environment.
- Follow all clinic policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program.
- Current Louisiana Physical Therapy License (or eligibility for licensure).
- Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
